There are much less of the Kreegans inside. But it doesn't lessen the danger they represent to you. You must always remember that they are extremely fast moving, helping themselves with these elongated hands of theirs. The best tactics for killing them - come close and kill. They usually stand around in small groups, but not always.

MIGHT and MAGIC VII
Tips and Warnings
Page 3
Thunferfist Mountain Underground
As soon as you emerge from the teleporter to the guards - at least three Minotaurs will attack you. You'll be extremely lucky if their Sergeant, the Minotaur Lord, will not be present; otherwise your chances to survive this fight are extremely low.
If your luck just turned and you'll face the Minotaur Lord, don't even try; just reload until you'll catch a moment when this formidable opponent will leave the post for writing down some reports, no doubt! Then don't waste time - fight the Minotaurs with might or magic, but fight, show everything you have learned so far.
When you will pass the guards, there will be two tunnels before you: one to the right and another to the left. You need the left one that leads you to the Evil Eyes. Kill them. But remember that some of the Evil Eyes still have the magical ability to inflict sleep on the opponent. Most of them were disabled to do this (ab. 90%), but if you'll meet one of the rest 10%, then you're in trouble, if you don't have the protecting item on yourself.
Remember about this if you don't want to sleep forever just like the Sleeping Beauty, as there will be no prince to save you!
Well, on second thought, you can even avoid any fighting with the Evil Eyes altogether, just run past them.

You'll reach the first fork. Take the right passage. The way will lead uphill. Finally, you'll appear on the surface of Nighon - the island of the Warlocks and the Overlords, the Masters of the Dungeon.
Nighon         back to the top

Warlocks, Rocs and Thunderbirds.
Finally you have reached Nighon, the place where you so need to be.
There your enemies will be: Warlocks (not those in the city), Rocs and Thunderbrids.
Though the Warlocks you'll meet will be only the female ones, don't underestimate the weak sex of them. They are still Warlocks!
Rocs and Thunderbirds are the mighty birds left in small numbers, after most of them left with the Barbarians. Usually they are neutral, but not when a stranger apears at their homes.
Hydras

Another nasty surprise - the Hydras. Rumours that they have all left to the Tatalian swamps were not too accurate, as it seems. They have got freedom from their Dungeon Lords, but still pledged to protect the land from the invaders if they would be called for help. You are the invader, so they attack! And they will attack not only with the multiply heads of theirs, but with magic too. There will be no just 5 stupid heads wanting to bite you, there will be 5 heads that want to bite you and cast a spell on you at the same time! And on top of this, the Hydras have the unique ability to move their huge bodies with a surprising speed. So, be careful!
The Maze

You have decided to enter, didn't you? Well, it is quite a gamble even for the so experienced adventurer as you are. That's your choice. Just remember, that the battle-axes of the Minotaurs are always sharp and the fastest are the Minotaur Lords. With only one blow, the Minotaur Lord can excuse you from this existence without paying even the slightest attention to your Hit Points. They look down on you, and rightly so, as you reach only till the knee hight of them. Are you a threat to them? Well, the game will show.
Keep a distance, always, every second, when fighting the Minotaurs.
The moment you see that they come closer, run like a wind from them, then stop, and carefully crawl back.
Tunnels to Eeofol         back to the top

Don't even dream that they will be free of the monsters, you should know better than that! There are two creatures in the tunnels: Medusas and the Behemoths.
Medusas

You should remember them; those who always try to paralyze and/or stone you. Hopefully, you don't forget the past encounters with them and have some item (cloak, for example, or something else) that protects you from the Medusas' magical attacks.
Otherwise, just cast Protection from Magic.
But there is no protection from their arrows, here only your fighting abilities will help. But Medusas are just the beginning. The worst is ahead.
Behemoths

Those are the huge, extremely powerful monsters with razor sharp, unnaturally long claws. And they have a very bad temper. Most of them have left with the Barbarians, but some orthodox ones refused to live according to their ancient laws. And one of it is that all the younger Behemoths should be fight tested on.... who do you think.... right.... strangers, meaning - you! So, prepare to fight. Don't be that intimidated.
Nobody can take the Behemoths lightly, except complete fools, but with the right strategy you can beat them.
In wider passages, use the heavy magical artillery: Implosion, Mass Distortion, and Incinerate. First rule: don't let them come too close to you.
In the narrow passages the tactics have to be changed, as the Behemoths are too huge and often get stuck in them. As they can't move, you have no choice but to come to them. In that case, use an another magic spell - cheap, and effective Sparks. Shower the Behemoths with little death bringing Sparks, and they will do the work for you.
Eeofol          back to the top
The Land of the Giants

The land of Eeofol has had many names in its history. It was known as the Land of the Halflings, the small hardworking peaceful creatures. It was known as the Land of Kreegans when they occupied it and took it from the Halflings.
But don't forget the ancient name of it is the Land of the Giants. It was called that because of the Dragons and the Titans who lived there for thousands of years. Races came and left through ages, but the ancient creatures were still there in Eeofol. The wise nations co-existed with them in Eeofol, and
did not disturb the Dragons and the Titans. The warrior races tried to conquer and either disappeared altogether from the history annals, or suffered devastating losses and left the giants alone.
Even the alien Kreegans were not able to subdue the Dragons and the Titans, and had to withdraw back to their base.
Titans

Huge creatures with huge swords and huge magic.
The deadliest of them all are the Blood Titans who can take your soul from the body in the blink of an eye.
Should you decide to fight with the Titans, kill the Blood Titans first of all.
The best tactics that can be offered - stand really close to the Blood Titan, you'll reach only to
to his knees, and strike him endlessly. It isn't that convenient for him to bend his huge body in order to strike back - so you have a chance of killing him. Only after there will be no Blood Titans left standing, begin in earnest with the other Titans.
Dragons

It will be more difficult with them. They are not ground units; they are the creatures of the air. Moreover, they can reach such heights that exceed any of your flying height limits. You'll see them flying above the highest mountain peaks. The Fly spell will not help you there. Dragons are unreachable in the air. The only thing left for you to do is actually quite silly - running on the tops of the mountains, and trying to hit incautiously the coming too low Dragon. That's all, folks. Try magic too. Remember, that each Dragon kind is susceptible to a certain kind of magic.
Kreegans

There will be hundreds of them outside their dwelling. Do not attempt to fight them. Yes, you have passed the Titans and the Dragons, you are that good, but you are still no match for hundreds of Kreegans. Their alien fire magic will kill you in seconds. That's why it is extremely advisable to fly over them and be invisible while doing this!

You must always remember that they are extremely fast moving, helping themselves with these elongated hands of theirs. The best tactics for killing them - come close and kill. Harpy Hags

All the open territory of Deyja is occupied with Harpy Hags. These are flying, old creatures. They are not very dangerous for you, however there are too many of them to ignore them completely, as there is always a chance that they can attack you all at once. That's why the best way to fight them is to fight them on their territory, i.e. in the air. It will be easier also because of the fact that Deyja Moor is covered with the net of deep canyons.
There will also be a small group of Zombies as well, but they are not a big deal for you at all.
